My name is Martin Holmes, an aspiring writer from the North of England, and The Hippest Kids In Town is my private place on the internet where I can vent, celebrate, and criticise all things pop-culture.
From the mainstream to the barely seen, I’m willing to discuss anything if I feel I have something worthwhile to say about it, and hopefully people will be entertained by my musings.
I also write sitcom scripts and comedy sketches, and I’m slowly but surely working my way in to the industry. I’ve had positive feedback from various production companies, including the BBC, and had sketches performed in London. Hopefully one day I will have one of my sitcoms on television.
